"I'm in debt, like my country, but she still believes in me..."
Kansas Indie Folk Rock invasion. Crooning love-sick lullabies to missed connections and lost opportunities, which owes something of a debt to the Omaha emo scene before Bright Eyes left the basement and became jaded. This record acknowledges the emptiness in drowning sorrows but continues to go out every night. Good album to get down to.
