Grown Ups- More Songs (2010)

Ooooh shit! after generating so much blog-hype with their first demo "Songs" [LINK], Grown Ups resurface with "More Songs" and crush any assumptions that they would be some kind of one-hit-blogspot-wonder. They've moved away from their american football-esque tendencies in "Songs" and come into their own with this album; delivering tight, catchy performances all-around with top-notch production (I believe Justin Pierre of Motion City Soundtrack assisted Grown Ups in this album's creation). They still keep it jangley with this one, at times opting to leave one of the lead guitars clean. This band tightrope-walks the delicate line in producing music that will satisfy both chest-tapping hipsters and stage-diving tough guys. "More Songs" makes sure both types leave their pretensions at the door to sing along in glory.

More Songs
