"we prosper in a troubled medium"
Birmingham, AL's P.S. Eliot offer indie pop gold!! The mixture of Katie Crutchfield's soothing southern-drawl and driving instrumentation, slightly distorted, evokes a head-bopping, fist-pumping devotion usually reserved for athematic hardcore acts. I caught the end of their show in Somerville, MA over Spring Break, and damn-near dropped my forty in exaltation when they got to the chorus of "We'd Never Agree", damn that's catchy. "Introverted Romance" is filled with moments like this. Next time they come around (which is actually sometime in July) I promise not to act like a drunk asshole and show up an hour late. I've also included the new "Bruno is Orange" single because I donated 4.00 USD for it.
